Exterior Repaint — Coastal Newcastle NSW

The owner wanted a cleaner street-facing look before summer. They also wanted longer protection against salt air. So first, we did a full exterior wash and removed salt residue. Then we prepped around the windows, fascia, and joins, where movement had caused minor cracks.

Next, we patched, sanded, and spot-primed the exposed areas. Then we applied a two-coat exterior system built for coastal conditions. The colour stayed close to the original palette. But we added a brighter trim contrast. So the front looked sharper from the street.

We staged the work to keep access clear for residents and neighbours. We also tidied up daily and kept them posted on weather windows. The final handover included a walkthrough and a touch-up checklist. We also left maintenance notes for the high-exposure sides.

Project metric: Completed in 4 working days with an estimated mid-range cost band for a two-storey coastal exterior repaint.
